These photos and videos capture the historic launch of the Traders Connect traders project, which was officially announced on 17–18 October 2024 at Station Place Hall in Durban Central.

From the very beginning, the excitement was electric. Hundreds of eager vendors lined up to be registered on the system we were using at the time. The turnout exceeded all expectations — the queues stretched long, and we couldn't register everyone in one day.

Our dedicated field workers worked tirelessly, moving from one trader to the next. They were exhausted but inspired, deeply moved by the energy and enthusiasm of every vendor they met.

Many traders continued the journey by visiting our offices at Durban Club Place, Anton Lembede Street, where registration efforts continued in full force.

We are incredibly proud to have played a role in opening doors of opportunity for these hardworking individuals. Every registration marked a new beginning — a step toward economic empowerment and sustainable growth.
